Introduction to Ashiatsu: 6 CE Hours
What is Ashiatsu?
Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage technique that uses overhead bars to maintain balance and assist in delivering more or less pressure as needed.
This technique uses long, gliding strokes associated with Swedish massage, but uses the foot instead of the hand or forearm to deliver pressure.
The use of larger muscles and the assistance of gravity allows the therapist to work more efficiently. Also, the increased surface area of the foot allows the client to receive deeper pressure with less pain.
Ashiatsu is becoming an increasingly popular way to reduce the strain put on a massage therapist’s hands.

Aromatherapy for Massage: 6 CE Hours
Massage therapists are more likely than any other profession to use essential oils and the benefits of aromatherapy.
However, most aromatherapy classes and books available detail training (inhalation) and not the combination of aromatherapy and massage (topical).
I designed this course for massage therapists who want to learn about the benefits of aromatherapy when combined with massage; both the benefits of topical application as well as the benefits of inhalation.
What’s in This Course?
Included in the course are common aromatherapy recipes, instructions on creating blends, basic spa recipes, carrier oil information, hydrotherapy, history, benefits and contraindications for use of essential oils in a massage and bodywork practice.
This course includes detailed profiles of 15 common essential oils used with massage therapy:
Bergamot, German Chamomile, Roman Chamomile, Clary Sage, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Geranium, Ginger, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Sweet Orange, Peppermint, Rosemary
